When the husband's on call . . .

I eat four-day-old chocolate cake for dinner.

What do you eat when you're "cooking" for one?

ha! sounds delicious. my husband travels for work frequently and I have my guilty days where I eat popcorn for dinner... am trying to be better about cooking, even when I'm alone. it's hard though!

cake can be so satisfying the day after (or a few days after). when the hubs is away, i often go for charcuterie and cheese. maybe i should mix it up a bit and throw chocolate cake in the rotation.

If we kept chocolate cake at home, I'd be up on that too. I usually just go for my trusty granola and soymilk.

@ Eileen & lavenderpug: Popcorn and charcuterie -- that's my kind of meal!

@ The Bride Concierge: This is why I never keep granola and soymilk at home! Hee hee.

@ Nellie: You cannibal! (You're quite delicious.)

Frequently when my husband's on call I would raid the fridge and eat all the chocolate ice cream. :)

Yum, it's better after a few days because it ages, right? That's my story, and I'm sticking to it. When I'm dining solo, I cook a Chipotle burrito bowl with guac. Yeah, I call it cooking.
