Chic DSLR Camera Bags

Say you're a fashionable, on-the-go blogger would sooner go without cupcakes than be without her DSLR.  Do you carry your camera around in an ugly nylon man bag?

Of course not.

Or so I'd imagine.

If someone (hint, hint) were to gift me with said DSLR for Hanukkah, then I'd surely need a gorgeous bag to tote the camera around.

What I adore about the bags above is that they bear no resemblance to nylon/neoprene camera bags.  Rather, they're all chic purses in their own right; they just happen to have neoprene or padded compartments to hold your camera gear.

Snugglens Mini Messenger Bag

The above messenger bag options from Etsy are less purse-like, but still chic enough to pair with a cute outfit and stylish enough to not scream to all the thieves of the world "camera! steal me!"

Ona Nevis Bag

My dream bag, however, is still this fabulous Nevis bag by Ona.  The cognac color, the tapestry lining, the brass-colored feet, and the amazing padded compartments that safely ensconce your camera body, two lens, and personal items, like an iPhone . . . I simple love it.

Ona Nevis Bag

Fancy camera people, what do you carry your DSLR in?  When it comes to camera bags, are you all about fashion, comfort, or utility?

My husband thanks you because you (inadvertently) just gave him a gift idea for me! Thanks!

@ Tiffany: I hear you. But I'm a bag hoarder, so two would not stop me. ;-P

@ lavenderpug and EmilyB: Which ones were your favorites? I love the one by Ona, but it's $300+!

Right now I use a crappy obviously-for-a-DSLR bag that someone gave me. But I desperately want this one from Jo Totes!
I also reeeally like that Ona bag but at $330 I think I'd be afraid to use it! Thanks for reminding me to add 'Camera bag' to my birthday wish list! :)

@ Megan: That bag is beautiful. I love the metallic/grey color, and that it looks great even when slung as a messenger bag. It might be more comfortable than the purse straps of the Ona?

i was eyeing the acme made bag for a long time, but it didn't seem practical. i do love the ona bag but the price is too high for a camera bag. i used an anthropologie handbag during our trip to europe, it worked pretty well, i only wished it had compartments for my lens, etc.

Oooh the Ona Nevis bag is definitely my favorite! I have been looking desperately for a bag for my camera...but I don't want to buy one that looks like its a camera bag at all...the Ona one is the closest I've seen to looking like a real handbag! Not a fan of the price, but maybe for a gift....
