So You Wish You Could Dance Sundays, SYTYCD Edition
The top 20 were announced this week on SYTYCD, which I'm thrilled with, since it means we can start watching the performances of people who can dance, instead of fast-forwarding through allegedly "funny," but really just sad, auditions of people who absolutely cannot dance. In addition to Melanie Moore, two of my other favorite female dancers made it into the top 20: Miranda Maleski and Ryan Ramirez.
Here is Miranda performing alongside SYTYCD alums Ashley and Mollee. Oh what I wouldn't give for those ridiculous extensions.

These posts make me so happy/sad. Happy because I love seeing amazing dancing. Sad because I moved to the UK last year and their version of SYTYCD is but a pale shadow. Sigh. I miss the US version.
@ Meg: What is the SYTYCD like in the UK? Can you get the Canadian version? I heard that's awesome too.
I'll say this season was WAY better than last, but it wouldn't have taken much. I could have made the finals last season (and lets just say it's been a good 15 years since I've danced and I'm hardly in fighting shape anymore). The boys far surpassed the girls and I was very happy with the winner. But no one really did anything that took my breath away or had me in awe and I missed that.
I can find stuff from other countries versions on youtube I guess, but it just seems like too much work...
