So You Wish You Could Dance Sundays, Nutcracker Edition

I hope you're not tired of my trove of awesome Youtube dance videos, because I'm going to make "So You Wish You Could Dance" into a regular series.  Look for a new example of dance awesomeness every Sunday.

Given the season, I'd be remiss if I didn't include a little bit of "Nutcracker" in my posts.  But like a big humbug, I'm not a huge fan of "Nutcracker" -- as I've mentioned before, story ballets are not my favorite, and "Nutcracker" is the paragon of story ballets.  This is a clip from Matthew Bourne's version of "Nutcracker," which is so quirky, tongue-in-cheek, and ironic that I can't bear to hate it.

Hope your holiday season is more "Sweetieland" than "Frozen Pond."
